The Aquarelle Durable project aims to spread the idea of a balanced world through art among children.

The project was born in 2017 at the Prefeito Djalma Maranhão municipal school, in the Vidigal community, in Rio de Janeiro.

The idea was to give the children of the community a different perspective on the world, with possibilities different from those they see and experience.

Children, with a little emptier baggage than us, carry with them the ability to believe and thus vibrate positively for the creation of a new reality.

Art, as a tool for this realization, brings approximation and breaks barriers.

There are no limits to what art can awaken in people, hence the concern (and the opportunity) to bring a message as clean and peaceful as possible, which converges with the creative power of each person. The translation of the message will always pass through the filter of the luggage of those who read it, but still, when in the right vibration, it will hit the target.

The project, which proposes workshops of a maximum of 2 hours, gave rise to a video installation (“Na Contra-Mão”) presented at the Human Rights week in 2018, at the United Nations Palace, in Geneva.

Currently, the artist runs a campaign to sell coloring and recycling books, authored by her, whose part of the income goes to the development of schools, organizations, and foundations in favor of children.

In 2022, the benefiting institution is the Djalma Maranhão Municipal School, the firstborn of the project, which will receive donations for the creation of a computer lab.
