Artistic and Educational Projects
The projects presented in this section extend Leca Araujo’s artistic practice beyond the finished artwork, integrating research processes, knowledge transmission and collective experimentation. Developed within educational, social and institutional contexts, these projects bring together art, sustainability and critical awareness, exploring artistic practice as a space for listening, learning and transformation.

Aquarelle Durable is a research project that explores sustainable practices in watercolor painting through the reuse and transformation of discarded materials.
Developed as an experimental laboratory, the project investigates how fragility, transparency and impermanence — qualities traditionally associated with watercolor — can coexist with durability, responsibility and ecological awareness.
By rethinking materials, supports and processes, Aquarelle Durable reflects Leca Araujo’s broader interest in sustainability as an ethical and poetic dimension of artistic practice, where environmental consciousness becomes inseparable from formal and conceptual choices.
